I didn't finish this novel, may it be the best that John Le Carré has ever written.
It just couldn't hold my interest, so I stopped trying.
The novel itself, the part I read (about half of it) wasn't that bad. It was written well, with great character development, but the topic just wasn't my cup of tea. It's like watching an oscar nominated movie you just don't care for. The movie itself will have its credits, but you can like them all.
The reason I picked it up in the first place, was because of my Centennial Challenge, which in fact it about me broadening my horizons and reading something I would otherwise leave be.
But it can't all be winners.
